With the Move-To service, customers can benefit from a moving service (activation of electricity and water) and an extract service (Final Bill) at an interaction point. 3. How can I submit Move To queries? You can submit the Move-To query by indicating the following fields; – Ejari Number for Existing Premises – New Premises Number – Withdrawal Date – Dewa Contract Account Number for Existing Premises – Release Date 4. What is the date of moving in and out? – The withdrawal date is the date on which you want to re-enter your electricity and water supply in your new premises. – The moving date is when you want to separate your electricity and water supply from your existing premises. 5. What are the categories of customers who can use the Move-To service? The transition to the service business includes residential and commercial categories, given that they can only be converted within the same category, i.e.
from one dwelling to another and only 6 commercial premises. Do I have to pay dewA security deposit for new premises in Move-To Service? a) No, you are not required to pay if the deposit in your existing premises is sufficient to cover the necessary deposit in your new premises. Your deposit of existing premises will be transferred to your new premises. b) You will be obliged to pay the difference in the deposit in order to have the required amount of deposit in your new premises, if the passage from the apartment to the villa or the deposit in your existing premises is reduced by the necessary deposit for the new premises 7. What are the conditions for the Move-To service? You must pay the remaining fees, if any, before requesting the move-to-service service 8. Do I have to request a refund of the DEWA guarantee deposit for the payment account? No, you do not have to claim de DEWA`s security deposit, as your DEWA security deposit will be transferred to your new premises. 9. Do I have to pay the final tally of the premises from which I moved? Yes, you must pay the final balance of the premises from which you moved.
10. Do I have to submit Ejari for the Move-To service? Yes, the Ejari contract for moving to new premises is mandatory. 11. Can I switch to service in property management centres/RERAs? By obtaining the Ejari contract from property management companies and typing centers authorized by the Dubai Country Department without visiting the DEWA centers, your move-to application will be automatically created in the DEWA system. 12. Do I have to forward the DEWA payment receipt to the property management agency/RERA approved for the issuance of Ejari? No, you are not required to forward the DEWA payment receipt to the property management company/RERA for the issuance of Ejari.
